Here’s everything you need to know about CM Garmindo’s shipping.

What is Ex-works / Ex-factory shipping?

• This is when our factory handles all paperwork and arranges your door-to-door shipping; you pay the shipping company’s posted fee; they pick up from our warehouse and ship right to your door.
• You can either pay the shipping company directly or we can send you an invoice of the shipping company’s posted fee and we pay it after you pay us. It’s up to you.

What is F.O.B. shipping?

• In this type of shipping, our factory handles all paperwork and uses our transport to drive your completed productions to a port or facility where your own shipping company takes it from us and completes the rest of your shipping to you.
• This is mainly used in sea freight with large-scale orders but only because the client is usually large and already have relationships or deals with shipping companies.
• Keeping in mind, going sea freight is cheap, slow, and requires at least 3cbm (approx. 360 shipping boxes).
• You would pay us the fee for delivering your products to your carrier’s location. And then you would pay your shipping company directly to handle the rest of your shipment.

Who pays for tariffs?

• Tariffs and associated fees/taxes are determined by the customs agency/authority at the destination and payment for tariffs/fees/taxes is the sole responsibility of the recipient.
• Our factory does not offer DDP or other types of shipping that makes us pay your country’s tariffs. Factories that offer this, simply spread the tariffs/fees/taxes into the rest of your bill anyway.

*For all samples and small-scale bulk productions, we automatically use DHL air freight (Ex-works) to send your purchases to you.

Here’s how it works:

1. We’ll handle all the packing, paperwork, and contact DHL for the pickup order from our warehouse.
2. Once DHL picks up your shipment from our warehouse, it’s officially yours. We’ll give you a tracking number so you can track the progress of your shipment via the DHL app or website.
3. Tariffs are paid by the receiver because your country’s customs authority charges you a tax for importing goods from another country. When your package arrives, DHL will tell you what your tariffs/fees/taxes are. Once you’ve paid this to DHL, they’ll release your package to you.
